How do I know what type pegs or stakes to get?
Zempire pegs are designed for every type of soil and ground to keep you secure or match your Zempire tent.
Dome Pegs - A time-proven, classic design, ideal for general use and a replacement for lost pegs.
Crinkle Cut Pegs - Offer heavy-duty anchoring, ideal for the corners of large tents. The crinkle wave design offers exceptional bend resistance and ground-hold. Well suited to firm and stoney ground.
Rock Stakes - Ideal for hard and rocky ground. The extra-long, ribbed surface offers exceptional ground-hold for solid anchoring of large tents and shelters.
Aluminium Pegs - Lightweight tent pegs, usually with a thinner profile for lighter tents such as hiking tents or Aerospeed Air Tents.
How do I pick the correct guy ropes?
Zempire guy ropes are carefully crafted for superior strength to withstand some of the world's harshest weather conditions and are suited to tent type:
Adventure Guy: 3mm polyester guy ropes are strong, lightweight, and low-stretch, perfect for anchoring tents in challenging weather. Recommended for Zempire Hiking Tents.
Bright Guy: 3.5mm polyester guy ropes are strong, UV resistant, and low-stretch, perfect. The hi-vis colour and reflective strips woven into the sheath make them easier to see in low light. Recommended for Evo and Pro Series Zempire Tents.
Tough Guy: Heavy-duty 5mm polyester guy ropes are strong, highly abrasion-resistant, UV resistant, and low-stretch, perfect for larger tents. Recommended for all Zempire Canvas Tents.
Glow Guy: Luminescent 4mm polyester cord for increased visibility in low light, comes in 10m of continuous length so you can cut it to suit your needs. Compatible with all Zempire Dome Shaped Tents.
How do I peg or stake my tent or shelter down?
Best practice is to ensure you angle the peg at 45 degrees when pegging into the ground and ensure the guy ropes are tight. Make sure the ground you are using will hold the pegs.
How do I remove my pegs or stakes safely?
Never use the tent peg webbing to pull out your pegs as this can damage the material. It's best to use a spare peg to remove pegs from the ground or a peg puller.
Do Zempire tools come with a warranty?
